Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge

What a perfect stay! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everyone there was so personable and attentive to our needs (not that we had any). It’s like staying with family in many ways. The room was in the new lodge. It was very spacious, clean and cozy. The food at the lodge was excellent. My wife joked with me when the Majestic reached out to me a couple of months before our arrival “if we were going to be wanting the meals at the lodge”. YES, you want the meals as your almost perfectly in the middle of nowhere!! The scenery and the quietness was so so beautiful. We were in town for the annual 4th of July car launch conveniently a few miles down the road. Had such an amazing 4th in every way. Can’t wait to we come back.

We stopped here for one night (in August) on our way from Anchorage to Valdez. The main lodge/reception/bar/restaurant is beautiful. The “Adventure Lodge” has several small rooms with private baths and a common area including sofas, table and chairs, coffee, tea, sink, microwave, refrigerator. It is a beautiful property with wildflowers, A fire pit, a hot tub, and more. And the views are amazing. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Thanks to the staff, including Gary, for their hospitality.

Stunning spot, breakfast was lovely. Friendly assistance on check in. The rooms vary alot so pick carefully, the price point says it all. They vary from quite basic and dated to absolutely stunning new rooms large rooms.

We stayed end of July 2025. Food was incredible! Evening was a "BBQ" their BBQ had beef stew, bourbon rice (to die for), yummy salad (not typical, can't remember the name) homemade bread, brats, burgers, and so much more.. The breakfast.. Who gets excited over scrambled eggs? You will after eating their scrambled eggs, breakfast was just as yummy as dinner. I can't forget the brownies and almond coffee cake (the bees knees). The staff was SO friendly, and we felt we made friends. Gary was a Rock Star from our first request, to dinner, to drinks. He's so funny and just enjoyable to get to know. Sierra (or Sienna) was just a joy, her happiness rubs off on everyone.. The local teen who helped in the morning was a delight, well spoken and just as professional as the other staff... Oh and the woman who checked us in.. another employee that excels in customer service. The lawn was perfect and the grounds were well cared for. There are Adirondack chairs to take in the moment or hang out on the deck in a variety of tables and chairs. It truly was the best placed we stayed in Alaska and by far the best food. Wish we would have stayed longer. ps... the have absolutely incredible views too...

Where do I begin? Kendra and her team are absolutely amazing, from navigating crazy wedding guests to last minute changes, Kendra ran around with us with a smile on her face the entire day and we couldn't have done it without her. Her team was also absolute dream to work with throughout the entire process. They have it all, the food being flavorful, full bar and comfy cozy rooms to end the night in. I highly recommend Majestic Valley Lodge for any intimate getaways, parties, weddings, or just for fun! We look forward to visiting again in the future.

This is definitely the best time I've ever had. In my 32 yrs of traveling. Owners , manager and staff are extremely welcoming and always available to help. Even when you are lost in the trails. They will come find you and take you back to safety. (I personally know this) But I highly recommend you stop here even for one night. The Lodge and cabins are very comfortable. You will leave with great memories and the best food, drinks and services you have ever had. Everyone here will make you feel like family! Thanks everyone at the Lodge for making my 1st trip to Alaska fun, entertaining, adventurous, and memorable.

We absolutely loved this place. It has breathtaking views and rustic log cabins. The staff was great, very attentive to everything we needed. We picked a great time to come with the fall colors. I added pictures to the site but the pictures do not do it justice. Our only regret is that I would have liked to spend more time here
